This ancient city is located on a hill just outside Ronda on the road to Sevilla. There are various impressive monuments and signs of ages gone by. At the bottom of the hill there is a stone entrance, and as you travel up the hill there are stones where houses once stood. At the top of the hill there are the remains of a former Roman theatre, although not all of the buildings are from the Roman era of rule; it is thought there was a Bronze Age settlement here around the turn of the 1st millennium BC too.
