San Telmo Museum

Located in an impressive former convent building the Museum houses an array of collections from paintings and sculptures through to ceramics and maps. Some of the exhibits are temporary while some are fixed in the museum long-term. There are also opportunities for research with the use of the library and various publications on offer.
Chillida-Leku Museum

The Museum seeks to celebrate the lifelong work of Eduardo Chillida. The Museum consists of three main parts: a 30 hectare outdoor area with 40 sculptures, a service area with auditorium, and the Zabalaga farmhouse museum, each of which focuses in on some area of the artist’s work.

Typically for Spain there is a large fiesta in the region’s capital in the summer. The Basque people spend a couple of weeks in June (10th-26th) playing numerous games from all around the world, including sport, board games and other large-scale games.
Armañón Natural Park
The Natural Park is situated on the Basque Country’s western border with Cantabria. It boasts beautiful landscape which features mountains, cliffs and hills that span almost 3,000 hectares. Some of the peaks reach up over 800 metres and are worth a walk while the scenery is something to behold when travelling through.
