El Teide
Tenerife
El Teide is Spain’s largest peak and is the world’s third largest volcano. It reaches more than 3,700 metres above sea level and it erupted as recently as 1909. The volcano is part of Teide National Park which has been a UNESCO World Heritage site since 2007.
Beaches
The Canary Islands boast some of the world’s best beaches, particularly the relatively unexplored Fuerteventura. Sun lovers can enjoy some sun bathing or they can get involved in some water sports and activities with many opportunities on offer.
