About The Montecarlo Hotel Barcelona
The Montecarlo Hotel is situated on the renowned Ramblas street at the heart of Barcelona and dates back to the year 1945, the year in which it opened as a hotel. The Montecarlo’s impressive facade clearly shows the building to be older however; indeed, the property came to life in the 19th century and its elegance betrays it rich heritage.
Prior to its conversion in 1945, the Hotel Montecarlo building played host to two newspapers, namely Las Noticias and El Correo Catalan. Today, the establishment brings together classic and modern designs and welcomes all guests to its striking four-star setting.

Visitors to the Hotel Montecarlo Barcelona benefit from a convenient position in the city centre thanks to the property’s position on the famous Las Ramblas.
