La Lonja formerly served the purpose of a stock exchange building but now is used for exhibitions and other such activities. The building was constructed in the mid-16th century and takes up a Renaissance style. La Lonja’s brickwork is typical of the region’s style although it does show influence from the Florentine palace Quattrocentro and the Mudejar.
